Complete Genomics Inc (GNOM) shares climbed 9.79 percent to $2.58 in after-hours trading Wednesday. The company reported the second quarter revenue at $8.7 million, compared to the $5.9 million and the loss of $0.55 per share versus $0.56 per share loss in the same period a year ago.

The shares of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc (MDRX) rose 7.60 percent in the post-market to close at $10.33. The company reported Wednesday an EPS of $0.16 for the quarter, lower than the consensus estimate of $0.18. The company's quarterly revenue was up 3.7 percent on a year-over-year basis. The company lifted its full-year adjusted earnings' outlook to a range of $0.77 to $0.83 per share as compared to the previous guidance range of $0.74 to $0.80 per share.

It expects the revenue to be in the range of $25.5-$26.5 million, the adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $7.5-$8.5 million and the net income to be in the range of $2.2-$2.7 million or $0.05 to $0.06 per diluted share, against the analysts' estimate of revenues of $28.8 million, the EBITDA of $9.6 and the net income of $3.1 and the EPS of $0.08 for the third quarter of 2012.

SunPower Corporation (SPWR) shares plunged 12.58 percent to $4.10 in the post-market trading. The company announced quarter results beating the analysts' expectations, but its third quarter results were below the market expectation.
