Top after-market Nasdaq gainers Monday were Premier Exhibitions Inc, CNinsure Inc, Monro Muffler Brake Inc, Novavax Inc Inc and Jive Software Inc.

The top after-market Nasdaq losers were WD-40 Company, Clearwire Corporation, Microchip Technology Inc and SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc.


Premier Exhibitions Inc (PRXI) shares climbed 20.68 percent to $2.86 in after-hours trading Monday. The company reported Monday second quarter earnings of 6 cents per share versus losses of 4 cents per share in the corresponding period the previous year. The company’s total revenue increased 63.5 percent to $13.4 million compared to $8.2 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2012.    

Shares of CNinsure Inc (CISG) rose 14.09 percent in the post-market session to close at $6.56. The shares of the company have a 52-week trading range of $ 5.00 - $9.02 and a market capitalization of 288.24 million.

Monro Muffler Brake Inc (MNRO) shares advanced 6.48 percent to $36.02 in post-market trading. The company shares lost 6.21 percent in the regular trading Monday. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $30.72-$47.62 and a market capitalization of $1.05 billion.

Novavax Inc (NVAX) shares gained 6.02 percent and reached $2.29 in after-hours trading. The shares of the company gained after it announced that enrollment has begun in a Phase 1 dose-ranging clinical trial of its respiratory syncytial virus or RSV vaccine candidate in healthy adults 60 years of age and older.    

Jive Software Inc (JIVE) shares surged 3.81 percent to $13.15 in after-hours trading Monday. The shares of the company lost 3.80 percent in regular trade Monday.  


WD-40 Company (WDFC) shares slumped 9.58 percent to $46.42 in the post-market session Monday after the company reported fourth quarter earnings of 56 cents a share on sales of $85 million against analysts forecast of earnings of 70 cents a share on the revenue of $94 million. The company’s full-year 2013 revenue guidance was also in the lower end of expectations.  

Clearwire Corporation (CLWR) shares lost 5.58 percent in after-hours trading to reach $2.54. The company shares had surged 15.95 percent after the news reports that Softbank Corp has reached a deal to buy up to 70 percent in U.S. carrier Sprint Nextel Corporation for $20.1 billion.

Microchip Technology Inc (MCHP) shares dropped 3.94 percent to $30.93 in after-hours trading. The company on Monday lowered its second quarter sales guidance citing macroeconomic and industry conditions and said it expects its net sales for its second quarter to be about $407 million to $408 million on a non-GAAP basis against its previous guidance of approximately $412 million to $430 million.

 SciClone Pharmaceuticals Inc (SCLN) shares plunged 3.02 percent to reach 5.71 percent on aftermarket trading Monday. The company shares had gained 2.97 percent in regular trading.
