The top after-market NYSE gainers Friday were SuperValu Inc, RPM International, Barnes & Noble, Leapfrog Enterprises and MBIA Inc. The top after-market NYSE losers were Genpact Ltd, Protective Life Corp, Greenbrier Companies, Raymond James Financial and EXCO Resources Inc.

Gainers

SuperValu Inc. (SVU) shares advanced 1.70 percent to $2.99 in post-market trading. The company’s stock rallied more than 13 percent in regular trading after the Wall Street Journal reported that Cerberus Capital Management was close to buying some parts of Supervalu.

RPM International Inc. (RPM) stock gained 1.64 percent to $31.00 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $22.96, a 52-week high of $30.61 and $4.03 billion in market capitalization.

Barnes & Noble Inc. (BKS) shares rose 1.50 percent to $13.55 in post-market trading. The company’s stock plunged more than 6 percent in regular trading.

Leapfrog Enterprises Inc. (LF) shares gained 1.47 percent to $8.99 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $5.30, a 52-week high of $12.28 and $599.28 million in market capitalization.

MBIA Inc. (MBI) shares rose 1.43 percent to $9.22 in post-market trading after climbing more than 11 percent in regular trading.

Losers

Genpact Ltd. (G) shares plunged 4.03 percent to $15.46 in post-market trading. The company’s stock surged more than 4 percent in regular trading.

Protective Life Corp. (PL) shares plunged 3.54 percent to $29.19 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $22.75, a 52-week high of $30.75 and $2.39 billion in market capitalization.

Greenbrier Companies Inc. (GBX) shares fell 2.84 percent to $16.21 in post-market trading. The company’s stock was downgraded to a “market perform” rating from an “outperform” rating at Avondale Partners.

Raymond James Financial Inc. (RJF) shares declined 2.62 percent to $39.84 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $30.99, a 52-week high of $41.00 and $5.66 billion in market capitalization.

EXCO Resources Inc. (XCO) shares declined 2.32 percent to $6.74 in post-market trading.
