The top after-market NYSE gainers Thursday were Tower International, Quiksilver, Yingli Green Energy Holding, Chico's FAS and McEwen Mining. The top after-market NYSE losers were Susser Petroleum Partners, Cedar Fair, Atlas Energy, Millennial Media and WPX Energy.

Gainers

Tower International Inc. (TOWR) shares surged 3.01 percent to $9.25 in post-market trading after climbing nearly 5 percent in regular trading.

Quiksilver Inc. (ZQK) shares surged 2.65 percent to $4.65 in post-market trading. The company announced Thursday that its board of directors had appointed Andy Mooney as president and chief executive officer. Mooney succeeded Quiksilver’s co-founder Bob McKnight, who was named as the company’s executive chairman.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd. (YGE) shares gained 2.44 percent to $2.94 in post-market trading after climbing more than 16 percent in regular trading.

Chico's FAS, Inc. (CHS) shares rose 2.23 percent to $18.78 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $10.48, a 52-week high of $19.76 and $3.06 billion in market capitalization.

McEwen Mining Inc. (MUX) shares advanced 1.88 percent to $3.79 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $1.96, a 52-week high of $6.17 and $998.84 million in market capitalization.

Losers

Susser Petroleum Partners LP (SUSP) shares slumped 6.33 percent to $25.16 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $22.80, a 52-week high of $27.00 and $587.67 million in market capitalization.

Cedar Fair L.P. (FUN) shares plunged 5.11 percent to $33.45 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $21.80, a 52-week high of $37.69 and $1.96 billion in market capitalization.

Atlas Energy L.P. (ATLS) shares declined 2.61 percent to $34.74 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $23.51, a 52-week high of $39.35 and $1.83 billion in market capitalization.
