Maxygen Inc (GERN) shares climbed 7.17 percent to $6.58 in after-hours trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $5.24 - $6.24 and $170.64 million in market capitalization.  

QuickLogic Corporation (QUIK) rose 2.45 percent in post-market trading to close at $4.60. The company announced that it would participate at the TI Technology Day 2012 in San Jose where it would demonstrate the capabilities of the BeagleBone camera reference design.  The company shares gained 10.05 percent in regular trading Friday.
