“Rack City” rapper Tyga normally doesn’t talk about his personal life, but he was unusually candid during an interview with KMEL-FM, San Francisco, Wednesday. He talked about the 8-year age difference between him and “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Kylie Jenner, slammed his ex-girlfriend, Blac Chyna, and even dished that Justin Bieber got him to join Snapchat.

One of the lighter topics Tyga discussed was how he got introduced to Snapchat, the ephemeral picture and video app. It was a few years ago when Bieber first talked about it: “He was like, ‘Bro, are you on Snapchat?’ I was like, ‘What is that?’ He was like, ‘Snapchat, you know. Like girls, they can send you pictures and you can delete them and it deletes!’ I was like, ‘What is that?’ So he set my Snapchat up for me.”

When the interviewer began to ask questions about his personal life, Tyga said he didn’t see why his age — he’s 26 — compared to Jenner’s, 18, was a big deal when they first got together. “I didn’t understand it though,” he said, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. “Because I’m like, ‘This person is a really good person.’ ”

Blac Chyna, who is the mother of his son, King Cairo, recently mocked Jenner for apparently “copying” her cooking show idea. But Tyga stood by his girlfriend’s side. “I don’t really know how it feels to hate on somebody else or just worry about what somebody else is doing because I’m so focused on my vision,” he said. “I just feel like the grass is always greener on the other side, to people. It’s like, worry about your own grass and yours will be just as green.”
