As big US banks return to generating big profits – bailout or no – their bosses are reaping the rewards. Here is survey of the compensation received by some top banking CEOs for 2010:

Jamie Dimon-JPMorgan Chase

Brian T. Moynihan-Bank of America
In his first full year as the top boss of Bank of America (NYSE: BAC), Moynihan received a stock grant valued at $9.05 million and a salary of $950,000. While Moynihan was raking it in, BAC shareholders saw the value of their holdings drop by more than 11 percent last year. REUTERS
Vikram S. Pandit -Citigroup
Vikram Pandit’s annual salary was hiked to $1.75 million from the symbolic figure of $1, although other details of his compensation have not been disclosed yet. Considering all the billions Citigroup has received from the federal government (i.e taxpayers), perhaps Pandit should again forego a bonus. Citigroup shares soared more than 40 percent last year. James P. Gorman -Morgan Stanley
Also in his first full year as chief executive, James Gorman received a stock grant valued at $3.9 million and options valued at $3.5 million. Unfortunately, Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) weren’t so lucky – shares of the company tumbled by more than 7 percent last year. Reuters
