According to the church's Facebook page, Chandler's doctor said the tumor is malignant and that the surgery to remove the tumor was an extremely positive first step; however, because of the nature of the tumor, he was not able to remove all of it.
Chandler, 34, will meet with a neuro-oncologist this week to outline the next steps of the recovery process, the page said.
The father of three collapsed in his home on Thanksgiving following a seizure which led to the discovery of the tumor.
