Walking Dead
Fans of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln, left), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus, center) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride, right) can get their "Walking Dead" fix over the holidays with a number of zombie-themed gifts. AMC

Eggnog, carols, tree-trimming, Santa and... zombies? “The Walking Dead” might be over for the year, but that doesn't mean the show can’t still be a part of the holiday season. With tons of “Walking Dead”-related gifts available this year, there's no reason fans can’t satisfy their hunger for zombie fun this Christmas.

Here's a guide to all the “Walking Dead” gift possibilities for fans’ holiday shopping lists this year:

The Show

The most obvious gift for fans of “The Walking Dead” is the show itself, of course! The first four seasons of the AMC series are available on DVD and Blu-ray. Season 4 is available right now on Amazon for $15.49 on DVD and $24.49 on Blu-ray, while the first three seasons are available at cheaper prices in both formats.

The Comics

Fans of the show might enjoy the comics that spawned it. The first 22 volumes of “The Walking Dead” comics, written by Robert Kirkman, are available on Amazon. The most recent, “Volume 22: A New Beginning,” is available in paperback for $10.77, and the first, “Volume 1: Days Gone By,” is available for $9.13.

The Game

For fans who can’t get enough of the show, the perfect gift might be “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.” The first-person shooter video game is based off of the show and closely follows the events in the AMC series. The game, which premiered in March 2013, is available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 for download at $49.99.

The Other Game

Another video game, “The Walking Dead,” produced by Telltale Games, follows the plot of the comic books vs. that of the show. The game is available in a downloadable episodic format. Season 1 debuted in 2012, while the game is currently in the middle of its second season. The episodes are available for download on Steam, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Apple App Store.

The Merchandise

There's plenty of “Walking Dead” merchandise on AMC’s website from the cheap -- shirts and other clothing starting at $19.99, action figures starting at $14.99 and the “Walking Dead” calendar for $14.99 -- to the expensive -- a Daryl Dixon Replica Leather Wings Vest for $259 and a replica of Michonne’s Katana sword for $249.

More Zombies

For more zombie action, fans can get the Blu-ray set of “28 Days Later” (2002) and its sequel “28 Weeks Later” (2007) for $13.39 on Amazon. The critically acclaimed film franchise follows survivors after a zombie apocalypse caused by a dangerous virus.

One More Game

Similar to “The Walking Dead,” the Naught Dog-produced video game “The Last of Us” follows one survivor in a post-zombie apocalypse world as he tries to protect a girl who might hold the answer to the cure. Named by many critics as the game of the year in 2013, it was released in a remastered version with bonus content in July for the PlayStation 4 for $49.99.

The Survival Kit

Are movies, games and comics not real enough? A website called Man Crates offers themed “survival crates” packed with goodies for many themes -- from whiskey to coffee to golf, including zombie survival. The crates are packed with essentials like a machete, knives, Spam, a flashlight, a first aid kit and a survival guide, among other treats. The crates come in three increasingly stuffed categories: “Zombie Survival” for $79.99, “Zombie Suppression” for $139.99, and “Zombie Annihilation” for $179.99.
