“The Walking Dead” creator and showrunner Robert Kirkman has dropped a big spoiler on the future of beloved characters of the hit zombie apocalyptic AMC series during a panel discussion at the Hawaii Comic Con event.

Showrunner Kirkman has managed to shock some of “The Walking Dead” fans that attended his Hawaii Comic-Con panel. When a fan asked who among the many characters in the series will die, Kirkman revealed the list without any hesitation, according to Undead Walking. “Rick, Carl, Michonne… in the show, Daryl Dixon, eventually. Abraham, Rosita. Rosita’s already dead in the comics. Jesus,” he stated.

Avid fans of the AMC series would know that “The Walking Dead” season 6 ended with a big cliffhanger. The villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) finally made his long-awaited appearance in the season 6 finale. Given the activities that Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his gang have done in season 6 where Negan lost a lot of his people, the villain has decided to kill one of Rick’s friends. The said episode ended with Negan’s bat Lucille bashing the head of a beloved “The Walking Dead” character whose identity was kept hidden.

Some of the fan speculations pointed to Glenn (Steven Yeun) being Lucille’s victim. “The Walking Dead” creator neither confirmed nor denied if the said character will die in the upcoming season 7 of the AMC series. When a young fan pleaded with Kirkman not to kill Glenn during the Hawaii Comic-Con panel, he teased that “it may be too late” but “[he’ll] take that under advisement,” as stated in the same report.

However, it is unclear if Kirkman’s recent revelation of “The Walking Dead” character deaths will happen in the upcoming new season or in future season runs of the AMC series. Speculations posted at Cinema Blend indicated that Rick and Carl (Chandler Riggs) may survive season 7. The character Jesus (Tom Payne) may also be safe from a potential season 7 death since he was not in final scenes of the season 6 finale.

Fans would have to look forward to further spoiler news to learn more about the fate of beloved characters. “The Walking Dead” season 7 is expected to return to the small screens in October 2016.
