Wall Street moves higher on confidence data
Stocks moved higher on Tuesday after data from the Conference Board showed consumer confidence rose to a one-year high in February.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> gained 27.32 points, or 0.21 percent, to 13,008.83. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> rose 3.88 points, or 0.28 percent, to 1,371.47. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> added 14.01 points, or 0.47 percent, to 2,980.17.
