At least for one more month it is unlikely to know the reason that caused the sudden death of American actress Brittany Murphy at age 32 yesterday.

Coroner's spokesman John Kades confirmed an autopsy was underway Monday but admitted that the toxicology results will come four to eight weeks after. He also said the final cause of death is pending the tests, according to a report from the New York Daily News today.

On Sunday morning, Murphy suffered a full cardiac arrest at her home and collapsed in the bathroom. She had flu-like symptoms and had been very ill the previous days, Kades has confirmed.

Murphy had said earlier this month that she was planning to have a child next year. The actress is survived by her husband Simon Monjack.
