Wholesale inventories unexpectedly fell in November
U.S. wholesale inventories unexpectedly fell in November by 0.2 percent (the largest such decline in nearly in a year) to a seasonally-adjusted $425.54-billion, following a downwardly revised 1.7 percent gain in October, said the Commerce Department.
Analysts had expected a 1.0 percent gain in inventories.
Sales climbed 1.9 percent in November.
