Winona Ryder is the new face of Marc Jacobs. She last featured in a campaign for the designer label more than a decade ago. The 43-year-old joins an already star-studded line-up for the designer’s Autumn/Winter 2015 campaign that includes Cher and Willow Smith. The actress has been photographed by none other than David Sims, according to Hello.

In the first image, Ryder shows off her gothic side, standing on a step ladder and wearing a show-stopping long black embellished cape. The “Edward Scissorhands” star rocks a short black bob and dramatic black eyeliner to complement her striking ensemble. Her hairstyle is messy and reminiscent of the character she played in the 1990 film. Another picture shows her posing for a close-up with a surprised expression on her face, rocking oversized glares.

Jacobs unveiled the two campaign photos on his personal Instagram account on Sunday. “Winona and I have been friends for over 15 years. She first appeared in our campaign in 2003,” he captioned one picture, describing why he chose the actress. About the second picture, he said that he loved Ryder’s wit, energy and said she was a great friend -- in addition to being immensely talented.

Ryder first campaigned for the brand when she modeled the Spring/Summer 2003 collection. The designer also released an image featuring Betty Lowe. The 9-year-old is following in her big sister, 26-year-old model Daisy Lowe's, footsteps. (The elder Lowe starred in a 2009 campaign for Marc by Marc Jacobs.) The little girl is pictured sporting a long skirt and T-shirt, with her hair styled in two braids.

The designer has previously opened up about his unusual decision to include a host of stars as the faces of his new collection. Jacobs said that ever since the brand came out with its first Juergen Teller ad in 1998, featuring Kim Gordon onstage wearing his dress, he always preferred collaborating with people who inspire him to give new life to the clothes.

Winona and Betty are just the latest names to join the growing campaign, which has truly become a star-studded affair. In June, photos were released of “Red Hot Chili Peppers” frontman Anthony Kiedis and his 7-year-old son, Everly Bear. The 52-year-old singer and his child were pictured in front of the same red background featured in the other campaign images.
