Wrestling legend Jack Brisco died Monday at age 68, according to a report from wrestlingobserver.com.

Brisco had been battling a number of health problems in recent years, including circulatory problems and emphyzema, according to the report.

Few weeks ago he underwent open heart surgery and as recent as a week ago, he collapsed while undergoing rehab.

Brisco was a former National Wrestling Alliance world champion in 1965 and in two ocassions won the most prestigious title in professional wrestling, the Ntional Wrestling Alliance World heavy-weight champion, the NWA's website said in a post today.

Brisco was also part of the World Wrestling Entertainment's Hall of Fame.
