A recent poll has named Britain’s Kate Middleton as the top beauty icon of 2011.

The Duchess of Cambridge has already been recognized as an emerging fashion icon, but according to a poll by Britain's second-largest beauty and health retailer, Superdrug, she is also the beauty icon of 2011.

Kate is followed by her younger sister, Pippa Middleton, who gained a lot of fame as bridesmaid during Kate’s wedding to Prince William in April this year.
