  • Tacko Fall is ranked sixth among Eastern Conference’s frontcourt in the All-Star voting
  • Celtics coach Brad Stevens is upbeat of having Fall on the team
  • Enes Kanter joined Fall to eat when he saw him giving his number to people

If you have a very strong fan base as a rookie, you cannot help but to spare a lot of time giving them a chance to mingle with you, or at least giving them a photo op.

It appears that Boston Celtics’ rookie darling Tacko Fall may get more than just hellos wherever he goes but may also start to get hellos on his phone one day.

In an interview by ESPN, the 7-foot-6 Fall said that he is starting to get used to the attention that he is being given by the fans wherever he goes – where most people are requesting to have a photo with him while some are fine with getting an autograph.

Celtics’ center Enes Kanter shared that he caught the 24-year old giving his number to random people when he went to eat out with him. "I’m like, ‘Tacko, what are you doing? You cannot do that,’” said the Turkish big man. Fall responded, “Oh they’re just nice people,” but Kanter reiterated that he shouldn’t be doing that.

When dealing with people, the former University of Central Florida is just so nice that he just can’t help but to give in. “I just can’t get myself to say no,” the soft-spoken Fall said.

“My kids are just in awe of how tall he is but that subsides the minute you talk to him,” Boston coach Brad Stevens said about Fall’s demeanor. “The thing that Tacko definitely did when he was in Boston, every time he comes through is he raises the energy level of those bigs in practice because they all love him,” added the 43-year old Celtics tactician.

“I’ve always been a firm believer that you always receive the energy that you put out”, explained the undrafted center. “I always try to put out positive energy and it feel like it comes back to me,” he added.

“Tackomania” really took the league by storm as Fall is currently sixth in the All-Star voting for Eastern Conference’s center/forwards.
