Michigan also has +900 odds to win it all and has been listed as the co-favorite with Gonzaga. The Wolverines were a No. 1 seed in this year’s tournament, ultimately losing in the Elite Eight.

Gonzaga came one victory away from becoming the first undefeated national champion since 1976. Star freshman Jalen Suggs is expected to be a top pick in this year’s draft. Corey Kispert, the team’s second-leading scorer, should be a first-round draft pick, as well. Leading scorer Drew Timme is not a top NBA prospect and will likely return for Gonzaga as one of the nation's top college players.

Villanova is tied for third with Baylor with +1200 title odds. Baylor defeated Villanova in the Sweet 16.

Florida State (+1400), Duke (+1500), Kentucky (+1500) and UCLA (+1500) are also among the top contenders for the 2022 college basketball championship.

Duke and Kentucky missed March Madness completely this year. UCLA nearly reached the championship game, losing to Gonzaga on an overtime buzzer-beater in the Final Four.

The last team to win back-to-back national champions was Florida in 2006 and 2007.
