A newborn baby boy in southwest England is set to inherit his family's noble title alongside its associated £315 million ($444 million) estate after both his father and grandfather shed their titles when they got married.

Baby Henry is in line to become the Marquess of Worcester after his father, Bobby, and his grandfather, Harry, Duke of Beaufort, got married and left the title vacant, the Gloucestershire Live reported.

Henry, as the first-born son of a first-born son, will also inherit the Duke of Beaufort title as well as the Badminton Estate — a 52,000-acre, 40-bed Gloucestershire property estimated to be worth $444 million.

The 69-year-old Duke of Beaufort broke the news that his son and daughter-in-law, Lucy Yorke-Long, had welcomed Henry into the world.

"I am absolutely delighted," the former singer and songwriter with the rock band The Listening Device — who now lives in the family seat in the Cotswolds — was quoted as saying by News.com.au.

He added, "It is with great pride that I have become a grandfather for the first time."

Bobby and Yorke-Long held their wedding at the Badminton estate in September last year. Only 40 family and friends were able to attend the wedding due to the coronavirus restrictions.

Both Bobby's sister, Isabella, and Yorke-Long's sister, Aalish, shared photos of the wedding day on their social media accounts.

According to Gloucestershire Live, the couple met through mutual friends when they were seated next to each other at a dinner party.

The Duke of Beaufort was quoted as saying that he was "absolutely delighted" when the pair got engaged. Bobby's mother and the duke's ex-wife, former actress Tracy Somerset, for her part, said, "My kids and I are thrilled to have Lucy as part of our family - we all adore her."

"(Yorke-Long) is sunny, intelligent and thoughtful - a joy to be with. Lucky Bobby," she added.
