The world of “Once Upon a Time” is growing! The Season 5 finale of the beloved ABC fairytale drama introduced the Land of Untold Stories. Now, in Season 6, fans can expect Aladdin and Jafar to make an appearance.

Rumors about the addition of Aladdin have been swirling for the past month and was finally confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. Fans even received their first look at the character — and infamous villain Jafar — in a sneak peek of Season 6.

Watch the video below:

The sneak peek is actually the first three minutes of the Season 6 premiere, which is set to debut on ABC on Sunday, Sept. 25. In the video, viewers get to see “South Beach” star Deniz Akdeniz as the hero Aladdin. But he’s not the same character that fans remember from Disney’s 1992 animated film. This Aladdin appears to be suffering from an unknown illness, and is so weak that he’s unable to save a man who comes looking for him for help. Jafar, played by “Stitchers” star Oded Fehr, easily uses his snak staff to turn the man into a pile of dust.

“It took becoming a hero for you to completely come apart,” Jafar says in the clip. “But that’s what always happens to Saviors, isn’t it?”

Jafar goes on to reveal that it’s the “fate of Saviors.”

“You give and give and give. And for what? They pick the fruits. They cut the branches and all that’s left is this shaky stump. Always. That’s why you never ever hear these words about a Savior — they lived happily ever after.”

What’s wrong with Aladdin? That remains unclear. However, it sounds like “Once Upon a Time” fans should start worrying about a couple of other characters. Both Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) have been called Saviors in the past. Will those two suffer the same pain that Aladdin has? Will they never have a chance at a happy ending? That’s already looking to be the case for Regina, who lost Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) last season and know has an evil doppelganger on the loose.
