Samoa Joe beat Finn Balor for the NXT Championship on Thursday night at a live event in Lowell, Massachusetts. Losing the belt after a record-setting 292-day run as champion, Balor could be headed for big things on WWE’s main roster.

It was just three weeks ago that Balor successfully defended his title on WrestleMania weekend, beating Joe in the main event of NXT TakeOver: Dallas. Balor had beaten Joe in December to retain the belt, as well, and there was speculation that the loser of the April 1 match would appear on the next edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Neither Balor nor Joe has ever been on “Raw,” but that could soon change.

The stage is set for Balor to make his debut on the WWE main roster. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who were part of the Bullet Club with Balor in New Japan Pro Wrestling, have started to make an impact in WWE. The three could join forces in the coming weeks, possibly at WWE Payback on May 1, where AJ Styles will face Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

It will be interesting to see what WWE does with Styles, and if he gets involved with the Bullet Club, which could be called the Balor Club in WWE. Styles has quickly become one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE after being a part of the Bullet Club in Japan, and Gallows and Anderson have already beaten up Reigns on his behalf.

Styles has said he hasn’t asked for any help in winning the title. Will Gallows and Anderson, or even Balor, help him beat Reigns at Payback? Will they turn on Styles and help Reigns? A heel turn could soon be coming for Reigns, and aligning him with a new faction could give him even more heat.

A lot of questions will likely be answered at the upcoming pay-per-view or the next night on "Raw."
