In an intercepted call, a Russian occupier was heard slamming Ukrainians, saying their nation "will be wiped off the face of the Earth."

The call was reportedly between the occupier and his wife. Ukraine's Defence Intelligence published the intercepted phone call on its official website.

"Babe, these are just K------- [a derogatory Russian term for Ukrainians], they're just rubbish, just dust, damn it. Why do you even care about them? F---, it's our nation that's going to be wiped off the face of the Earth. It's our people who'll be killed there, and those who aren't will be crawling and begging for mercy. Forget about their nation; it won't exist anymore. Wait a bit longer and it will be wiped off the face of the Earth and that'll be it: there won't be any more of this hatred of K-------. They're to blame for what they've done, so the sooner they all die, the better," the press service of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine quoted.

When the woman asked what would happen to the children, the occupier replied: "I don't give a f--- about them either. I f------- despise their children, all the kids of these m------------. These bastards are taught to hate Russians in their summer camps. A K------- child should be f------ strangled immediately. Right away, in the f------ womb. That's what I'm going to do. That's what I am doing. Well, okay, bye."

The war in Ukraine has been going on for more than 10 months now. This week, 810 Russian casualties were reported amid calls for a ceasefire between the two sides.

A total of 109,720 Russian military personnel have been killed since the conflict began, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claimed in its most recent casualty report released Thursday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the head of Russia's Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, to impose a 36-hour ceasefire Friday for the Orthodox Christmas holiday.

"Based on the fact that a large number of citizens professing Orthodoxy live in the combat areas, we call on the Ukrainian side to declare a cease-fire and give them the opportunity to attend services on Christmas Eve, as well as on the Day of the Nativity of Christ," Putin's order read, according to a report by the Associated Press.
