Ahead of their showdown at the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, Daniel Bryan has called out Bray Wyatt to the ring.

The match would be treated as a pre-Survivor Series confrontation and is expected to happen on Friday Night's SmackDown episode.

The big news was confirmed on WWE's official website where they mentioned it in their preview that read: Bryan is summoning "Wyatt to the ring for a pre-Survivor Series confrontation on Friday Night SmackDown."

"Daniel Bryan is letting him in – what will Bray Wyatt do with the opportunity?

Before the two competitors meet for the Universal Title at WWE's Fall Classic, Bryan summons Wyatt to the ring for a pre-Survivor Series confrontation on Friday Night SmackDown. The rivalry has escalated in recent weeks with the Universal Champion's backstage attack and "Miz TV" disruption, which led to Bryan laying down the title challenge.

"Will Bryan send a message before the Survivor Series showdown? Can Wyatt's mind games get his adversary back into a "Yes!" state of mind? Catch the confrontation on SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX," WWE announced on their official website.

Wyatt and Bryan's Universal championship fight was set up just last week when the latter made an appearance on Miz TV. That's when the reigning champion Wyatt, on the big screen, challenged Bryan for a showdown at the Survivor Series.

Apart from Wyatt-Bryan's fight, the WWE company has also announced a six-man tag team fight for this week's show. Roman Reigns is expected to team up with Mustafa Ali and Shorty G to take on King Corbin, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode.

The Friday Night SmackDown episode is officially declared as a kickstart to the much-awaited Survivor Series' weekend. All of this weekend’s events will take place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago.
