A 15-year-old has been arrested after cops say that the teenager was caught on video shooting a student outside of a Harlem charter school.

The teenager is being charged of attempted murder, attempted assault and weapons possession, according to the NY Daily News.

The 15-year-old was caught on video at the East 125th St. School, where a security camera filmed the teenager firing a handgun into a crowd after a dispute last Tuesday. One of the shots fired hit Kenneth Taylor, 18, in the shoulder, but he was not seriously injured.

Although the victim of the crime escaped without serious injury, not all victims of handgun crimes are as lucky: New York had 135 handgun murders in 2010 and experienced a 7 percent increase in firearm murders from 2009-2010.
