Fans of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey are practically foaming at the mouth, waiting to find out who will play their favorite control freak Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation. Every week there's a new rumor about which hunk will be putting on a grey tie while hiding a twitchy palm as he portrays Christian Grey.
Some of the most popular names being thrown around to play the role are Twilight star Robert Pattinson and Ian Somerhalder.
But the main problem with these lads, which has nothing to do with their looks by the way, is that they've become famous for playing vampires. Women love them for it, but are guys who are best known for being bloodsuckers the best choice for Christian Grey?
Rumors started swirling about the newest actor destined to play Christian Grey after he reportedly started a Twitter account on Wednesday and began feverently following Fifty Shades of Grey fan sites, Celebuzz reported.
That actor is Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
But the rumor is questionable since Oliver Jackson-Cohen has had a Twitter account for much longer than Wednesday, and he's also isn't following any Fifty fan sites.
But that doesn't kick him out of the running, right?
He's definitely got the look and he's relatively unknown, which could be a plus. Jackson-Cohen was most recently in The Raven and played Drew Barrymore's hot friend in Going the Distance, but it's doubtful that if he were chosen to play Christian Grey, people would only see Drew Barrymore's hot friend.
He joins the long list of actors fans hav been hoping will play Grey, including Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum, Alexander Skarsgard, Jessie Pavelka, Matt Bomer, Michael Fassbender and Colin Egglesfield.
