The head of a 7-year-old, physically challenged boy was found on the roadside in front of his house in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

According to authorities, the rest of the body was spotted in a white garbage bag after a passing driver saw the head, according to the Associated Press.

Jeremiah Lee Wright, a 30-year-old man from Thibodaux has been booked for the first-degree murder of Jori Lirette, who was his girlfriend's son. According to The Daily Comet report, he is being held at the Lafourche Parish jail

Jori Lirette had cerebral palsy and could not move around without a wheelchair. According to the report, the boy's mother is 27-year-old Jesslyn Lirette, who was getting her pickup repaired when the boy was killed.
