Abigail Breslin stole the hearts of fans and critics in her portrayal of Olive in indie hit-movie “Little Miss Sunshine.” Now, she is back on the big screen in “New Year’s Eve.”

While Breslin is not the main focus of this ensemble cast film, her fans are excited about her first on-screen kiss. She will share it with fellow teen actor Jake T. Austin.

In “New Year’s Eve,” Breslin, playing the daughter of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, is “desperate to celebrate the holiday in Times Square with her friends and a certain boy [Austin’s character],” according to OTRC.

“It’s interesting to have to kiss somebody in front of like 25 people and a camera right in your face. And when they yell ‘cut,’ just walk away from each other and be like, ‘yeah, cool, cool,” she said in the following Yahoo video.

For Austin, it was reportedly his first on-screen kiss, too. A scene of the kiss is in the video below.

Since “Little Miss Sunshine,” Breslin has been busy. She starred in “Definitely, Maybe,” “Nim’s Island” and “My Sister’s Keeper.”

She reportedly earned $65,000 in the upcoming animated movie “Zambezia” for doing just one 4-hour recording session, reported TMZ. That works out to a rate of $16,250 per hour.

Breslin’s band, CABB, also recently released a new song.
