Adrienne Bailon was excited to announce Thursday that she has started to remove a regrettable tattoo from her lower back. The Cheetah Girl told co-hosts Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love and Jeannie Mai on their new daytime talk show “The Real” she’d rather burn her flesh than have to walk around with a Rob Kardashian tattoo any longer.

“I’ve gotten pretty bad tattoos before,” she said, as per Us Weekly, referring to her ink of ex-boyfriend’s name. “Everybody knows I have the ratchet-iest booty tattoo of an ex-boyfriend. I don’t know what I was thinking.”

“It’s awful. Ten-letter last name: Kardashian,” she said on the show. “It’s pretty bad. I made a very bad decision. Don’t follow my example.”

“Don’t do it!” she reiterated to the audience and viewers.

While the 29-year-old singer opted for a more private spot for her tattoo, Kardashian got her moniker on his left rib cage. The two broke up in 2009 after two years of dating, with their matching name tattoos for one another being the only lasting thing to emerge from their relationship.

Bailon has started the tattoo removal process. “It does not feel good,” she added. “You could smell your flesh burning. And it’s my a-- flesh burning!”

Though she and Kardashian broke up years ago, Bailon was afraid to remove the tattoo because of the pain and possible scar it could leave behind. She told the New York Daily News a friend wanted her to get the body art removed as soon as she broke up with Kim Kardashian’s little brother, but she waited until she found the right doctor to go ahead.

“It’s worse if I had a third-degree burn on my a--,” she told the New York news site. “Now I found someone who specializes on women of color and I have two more sessions before I’m done.”
