The gang is back together on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” A new sneak peek from Season 2, episode 19, shows the team all together once again. But Coulson (Clark Gregg) might not want everyone on this mission. Also, he has to make Gonzales (Edward James Olmos) trust him with the job first.

Sneak Peek No. 1

After turning himself in to Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) in episode 18, Coulson will be locked up. Gonzales has him in a holding cell, and he asks the same thing the audience wants to know: “Why turn yourself in now, Phil?”

Coulson explains that he has a man inside Hydra who revealed that they’re experimenting on people with powers in the Arctic. Coulson wants to go after them, but Gonzales claims that he can’t trust the former director.

“Then trust the mission, but don’t let this be about you and me," Coulson says. "The one thing we still have, both of us, is stopping Hyrda, don’t we?”

Coulson reveals that Hydra has Deathlok (J. August Richards). The fact that Coulson was working with him at all makes Gonzales suspicious. The new director asks why he should trust Coulson. “Because we all have our secrets. You have one sitting in the cargo hold of your ship, but I’m still willing to work with you,” Coulson explains.

It seems Fury’s toolbox revealed a few of Gonzales’ secrets. Still, Coulson offers to open up the toolbox as long as Gonzales agrees to let him go on a mission to rescue the people being experimented on by Hydra.

Sneak Peek No. 2

Apparently, Coulson convinces Gonzales to let him go and even assemble a team. Coulson has Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), May (Ming-Na Wen) and Ward (Brett Dalton) going with him, and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) wants to go too. However, Coulson isn’t quite sure she is needed.

“I appreciate the offer, Simmons, but this is a specialized team," he says. "Agent May is there for technical support. Fitz, to disable the defense systems.”

“And who is there to look after Mike’s injuries? Ward?” Simmons asks. She explains that she knows Deathlok’s structure and can help him if Hydra has done anything to him. Coulson decides to let her on the team after all.

Simmons, Fitz, Ward, May and Coulson walk onto the plane, and it almost feels like Season 1 for a second. But Skye isn’t there, and once the team hears an odd sound, May points her gun at Ward. The double agent claims he didn’t do anything, but the team doesn’t believe him until Skye (Chloe Bennet) reveals herself.

“This is great,” Ward says. “We finally got the team back together.”
