President Donald Trump rallied behind Alabama Senate candidate, Republican Roy Moore, before the state's Senate election at a campaign event in Pensacola, Florida, Friday.

According to a report by the Hill, Trump at the event blasted news agencies like CNN and ABC News over fake news and also talked about illegal immigration.

Referring to Moore at the campaign event, Trump said: "We need a Republican in the House, we need a Republican in the Senate. We need more of them."

"This guy's screaming, 'We want Roy Moore,'" Trump continued, pointing to an audience member at the event.

He then said, referring to the same audience member, "he’s right."

"How many people here are from the great state of Alabama?" asked Trump, to which the audience responded with a big cheer.

"We want jobs, jobs, jobs. So get out and vote for Roy Moore," the president stressed.

The report stated that the rally was organized before Trump extended his support to Roy Moore who has been the subject of multiple sexual misconduct and assault allegations in recent weeks.

Numerous members of the GOP have called for Moore to stand down from his position after the allegations. In a recent case, Republican and Arizona senator Jeff Flake, gave a check of $100 to Moore’s Democrat opponent in the Alabama Senate elections, Doug Jones. On the check he wrote, "Country over Party."

Trump talked vehemently against Jones on Tuesday saying Jones would be a "puppet" of Senate Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Trump also spoke about the latest allegation of Moore being involved in sexual misconduct. Referring to a note in the yearbook of the accuser, written by Moore when she was a teenager, Trump said: "So did you see what happened today? You know the yearbook? Did you see that? There was a little mistake made. She started writing things in the yearbook."

He then addressed to the accuser's attorney, Gloria Allred, "Oh, what are we going to do? Gloria Allred, any time you see her you know something's going wrong."

Beverly Young Nelson accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was 16-years-old and stated on Friday that she had made notes under Moore’s signature in the yearbook. Whether the signature was really Moore’s or not was the topic of debate among many.

Trump's focus then shifted to his administration’s achievements, opposing media outlets over the issue of fake news and also cementing his hardcore stand on immigration.

"Oh thank you, CNN, thank you so much," said Trump regarding the media outlet who issued a correction earlier that day for a story which talked about WikiLeaks contacting Donald Trump Jr. and other members of the Trump campaign last year.

He then added, "You [CNN] should have been apologizing for the last two years."
