The Alabama Crimson Tide survived their toughest test of the season, and kept the No. 1 spot on the Associated Press college football poll this week.

Quarterback AJ McCarron’s late touchdown clinched Alabama’s win over SEC rival LSU, and the Tide are No. 1 for the 10 th consecutive week this season.

There was no movement amongst the Top 5, with No. 2 Oregon outlasting USC 62-51 in a Pac-12 shootout, and No. 4 Notre Dame needing three overtimes to beat Pittsburgh.

Kansas State also stayed at No. 3 after getting by Oklahoma State Saturday, and Georgia and Ohio State are knotted at the No. 5 spot.

Alabama’s has one more game against a ranked opponent in the final three weeks of the regular season, home matchup versus Texas A&M.
