30 Rock actor Alec Baldwin decided to dish out some advice to fellow actor Charlie Sheen.

In a guest column on Huffington Post, Baldwin wrote, Take a nap. Get a shower ... And then beg for your job back. Your fans demand it.

In the piece, titled Two and a Half Men Are Better Than None, Baldwin tells Sheen that he can't win if he continues with his outrageous rants and lawsuits.

Sheen recently filed a $100-million lawsuit against the creators of the hit CBS show Two and a Half Men.

When executives at studios and networks move up to the highest ranks, they are given a book. The book is called 'How to Handle Actors.' And one principle held dear in that book is that no actor is greater than the show itself when the show is a hit, Baldwin wrote.

And in that regard, they are often right. Add to the fact that the actor who is torturing their diseased egos is a drug-addled, porn star-squiring, near Joycean Internet ranter, and they really want you to go.

Baldwin continued by telling Sheen that it is not too late to shape up and apologize for his actions.

Go on Letterman and make an apology, Baldwin said. Sober up, Charlie. And get back on TV, if it's not too late. Beg for America's forgiveness. They will give it to you.

Baldwin ended the letter by saying P.S. buy John Cryer a really nice car.
