Alexis Sánchez continued to his impressive start to his Arsenal career with a brilliant curling free-kick to put his new side 1-0 up on Southampton in the third round of the Capital One Cup. Just 14 minutes had been played at the Emirates Stadium when the big summer signing from Barcelona stepped up to a free-kick 25 yards out and placed it expertly right into the top left-hand corner.
