Alyssa Milano's “sex tape” may leave a lot to the imagination, but it isn't meant to compete with Kim Kardashian's. The actress' new video for the website Funny or Die aims to promote political awareness.

On Twitter, Milano nonchalantly announced the video’s existence, saying, “My sex tape was leaked. Not sure what to say. Going to post the link myself to try to control the situation.” Unlike Kardashian's, Milano’s sex tape features zero nudity; it's a joke meant to draw viewers to focus on the situation developing in Syria.

Milano’s comedic sex tape is shot in a style similar to many other “leaked” celebrity sex tapes. The former star of “Who’s the Boss?” and "Charmed" can be seen drinking and getting romantic with an unknown male. They make their way to the bedroom, where Milano talks directly to the camera and shows off the romantic scene, complete with rose petals on the bed. As things escalate, Milano sets up a video camera, and before anything can be revealed, the camera is knocked over, and the screen cuts to a news report on Syria.

The news broadcast provides a timeline of the civil unrest in the country, explaining the tension in Syria and the opposing factions within the region. The broadcaster, played by Steve Tom, describes the Syrian uprising that called for the resignation of President Bashar Assad and the build-up to the most recent situation involving an attack using chemical weapons that killed up to 1,400 people. President Barack Obama is pushing for a military strike and looking to Congress to pass a resolution authorizing a strike.

It's not the first video Milano has done for Funny or Die. Previously, she appeared in a video urging viewers to vote and another video where the “Charmed” actress was given a “Jersey Shore” transformation.
