Vanck and Ashton on "The Amazing Race"
Vanck and Ashton could become the next “Amazing Race” team eliminated after a Double U-Turn looms in Italy. CBS

They’ve been a team that has rubbed all of the others the wrong way and don’t really get along with one another. Now, all of the other “Amazing Race” teams may decide to team up when a U-Turn presents itself in Italy to knock Vanck and Ashton out of the competition.

Previously on the CBS reality competition series, Vanck and Ashton were engaged in a battle against Matt and Redmond after they went back on a plan to do a coin toss for a first helicopter in South America. They attempted revenge on them when they encountered a first U-Turn in Africa, but Matt and Redmond not only survived the leg, but placed in fourth that leg, directly behind them. Since then, the two have focused on their issues with one another, and have battled over the way they handled Detours and Roadblocks, as well as which ones they actually worked on. The fighting and bickering has begun to wear on the other teams, many of whom want them gone.

In a behind-the-scenes video posted to the “Amazing Race” YouTube page, Brooke and Scott are seen conferring with Matt and Redmond as they discuss U-Turns, and Brooke makes no qualms about how much she wants to see Vanck and Ashton eliminated, and wants to see them U-Turned no matter what, even if it means leaving stronger teams in the competition.

“I’m not doing Mom and Dad or Mike and Liz. I want Vanck and Ashton out, she’s a horrible person,” Brooke says when the guys suggest U-Turning the other two teams. “...I would be happy U-Turning Mom and Dad, as long as it also meant U-turning Ashton and Vanck.”

If the teams who work together to go against them are successful, then it could mean it is the end of the Race for Vanck and Ashton, as the leg is guaranteed to be an elimination one after Liz and Mike were saved in Norway by a non-elimination.

However, in a preview clip for the Thursday, April 27 episode, things won’t go so smoothly for the teams trying to get Vanck and Ashton eliminated, as a rock climbing task in particular seems to test the relationship Brooke and Scott have even further than it already has been in the past.

“I really don’t think you have me! Ow! Ow! Ow!” she cries in the clip.

Meanwhile, despite being saved in the previous leg, Mike and Liz are still not in a good place after constantly butting heads in Norway, and it appears that their argument will continue as they prepare to head to Italy, meaning they could be in jeopardy as well.

“I said I’m sorry. What more do you want?”Liz says in the clip.

“We’re done,” Mike replies.

“The Amazing Race” airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
