'American Horror Story' Season 5 Star Lady Gaga Is Getting Fit For Her 'Hotel' Character

Lady Gaga is looking scary good! The Grammy-winning artist is shaping up for her forthcoming role in the chilling FX drama “American Horror Story: Hotel,” which will return to the small screen with its highly anticipated fifth season this fall.

But how is Mother Monster getting fit for the frightening series? Well, Lady Gaga gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into her sweaty, workout routine, which is getting the actress tight and toned for the Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk-created drama.

“Gyro class, not the Greek sandwich kind!!” the actress quipped, captioning a picture of herself showing off her fierce abs and sculpted arms. Gryotonic is an exercise method that involves movement principles from yoga, to gymnastics and even swimming! In the practice, participants use a machine with discs and weighted pulleys that help strengthen and lengthen their muscles through circular movements.

Beatriz Pascual, who reportedly introduced gyrotonic to the United Kingdom, explained to the Guardian in 2007 why the three-dimensional exercise is so “unique.”

“Individuals who are used to working in linear movements are often surprised by how little control they have of their bodies in this way – so you need to be consistent with your sessions to see the benefits. Once a week is good, but twice a week is preferable,” she dished.

But according to Lady Gaga’s Instagram images, it looks like the artist is definitely partaking in gyro classes more than just twice a week – seriously, just check out that bod! “Horror Story Slave,” she captioned another photo of her performing an intense ab workout that even made our stomachs burn!

Guess Lady Gaga’s svelte figure will be just one reason why her character will be so sought after come Season 5 of “American Horror Story.” Murphy teased fans in June that the “Bad Romance” singer would have not one, but two potential love interests in “Hotel.”

“Finn Wittrock is checking in HOTEL. Who will Gaga choose – Finn or Matt Bomer?” Murphy left fans with the ultimate decision.
