‘America’s Got Talent’
Henry Richardson will receive a standing ovation from the judges for doing a shocking magic card trick in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12. NBC

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will feature another wonderful magician, but this time around, it will be 15-year-old Henry Richardson’s turn to impress the judges.

In the sneak peek video released by NBC for Season 12, episode 5, Richardson introduces himself to judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. When asked what he will be doing, the teenager says that he will be doing a magic trick. Mandel curiously wonders what inspired him to do magic, and Richardson tells him that he was actually encouraged to do tricks after watching the other magician contestants in “America’s Got Talent.”

When it was time to start his act, he goes down the stage and walks towards the judges with a pile of cards on hand. He stands in front of Mel B and tells the Spice Girls member to pick a card and then cover it with her hand. Mel B does as she is told, and Richardson tells everyone that he will try to exchange the card in his hand with the one in Mel B’s hands without touching the singer. Surprisingly, he was able to do this with ease.

A very shocked Mel B informs her fellow judges that she did not move her hands, not one bit. But that’s not how Richardson’s act will end. The young boy stands in front of Cowell and hands over a yellow notebook that’s filled with his doodles. He asks Cowell to choose one of his drawings without telling him out loud. After Cowell does this, Richardson asks the music mogul to think of the image he just saw without saying anything.

Richardson announces to the judges and live audiences that he will try to put the image that Cowell saw into the card that Mel B is holding. After a few seconds, he asks Mel B to tear the card into half only to reveal that there’s a soccer ball hiding inside the thin piece of paper.

By the looks of it, Richardson will make it to the next round of the competition. However, it is unclear whether or not Klum will give him the last golden buzzer for Season 12.

America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
