‘America’s Got Talent’
Will Johnny Manuel be one of the seven contestants to make it to the live shows in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12? NBC

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will introduce the final 20 contestants who will be vying for the last seven spots before heading to the live shows.

In the teaser released by NBC for Tuesday night’s episode, some fan favorites will be returning to the stage to showcase another round of performances. Singer Johnny Manuel is one of the 20 contestants who will try to once again win the hearts of judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel. This time around, the four judges will be joined by guest judge Seal.

During his audition a few weeks ago, Manuel revealed to the judges that he previously got signed by a record label. However, he felt that he wasn’t allowed to be true to himself so things did not work out for him and the record company. In his performance, Manuel shocked the judges with his stunning voice quality while singing Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Have Nothing.” He received a standing ovation and four yeses in the first round.

For his judge cuts performance, Manuel will once again be singing his heart out for a chance to earn one of the seven spots. Making the cut would mean everything to Manuel, who said that he really wants to pursue a career in the music industry. The singer is also one of the 20 contestants who may receive the prestigious golden buzzer from Seal.

Over the past three weeks, guest judges Chris Hardwick, DJ Khaled and Laverne Cox gave their golden buzzers to singing contestants Angelica Hale, Chase Goehring and Celine Tam, respectively. It is highly possible that Seal, who also happens to be a singer, will reward a contestant who will sing during the judge cuts round.

Meanwhile, other acts that will be performing on Tuesday night include Will Tsai, who first impressed the judges with his magic act. He will be joined by young dancers Artyon & Paige, who only received three yeses from the judges during their audition. Danell Daymon & Greater Works will also be taking the stage on Tuesday night together with several other contestants.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
