Amy Schumer has started the year right with a new love in a hot new boyfriend.

The “Trainwreck” actress’ new beau is Ben Hanisch, according to People magazine. Hanisch is a Chicago based furniture designer and a source told the magazine that Schumer is “so, so happy” with her new man. "She calls him her boyfriend and says he constantly tells her how pretty, sexy and perfect she is,” the source added. “She feels like she hit the jackpot."

Initial photos of Schumer and Hanisch together has already reached various social media sites, both uploaded by the “Inside Amy Schumer” star and her new boyfriend. Schumer shared a group picture of herself with her family and Hanisch on Twitter during a visit to the White House. She captioned the image, "Fam and man at the whitehizzy."

The 29-year-old furniture designer also took to Instagram on New Year’s Day, when he uploaded a sweet picture with his arm around Schumer. Hanisch even wrote a touching message on the social media site, “Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here's to what adventures 2016 brings!”

Schumer, being the funny lady that she is, also commented to her boyfriend’s post, People magazine reported. She jokingly wrote, "I'm pregnant. I didn't know how else to tell you." A source also told the magazine that Schumer’s sister approves of the actress’ new man. The source said, "Her sister loves him and that's important because her and her sis are BFF.”

The comedienne’s love life in 2016 is apparently taking a positive turn with her hot new beau. In an October interview with The Insider, Schumer previously shared the qualities that she looks for in a man, Entertainment Tonight reported. She stated that her ideal guy has to be funny and nice. “He has to have a normal relationship with his mother," she added.

Schumer’s previous boyfriends included WWE wrestling star Dolph Ziggler and comedian Anthony Jeselnik.
