Angelina Jolie recently attended the U.N. dinner with four of her six children, namely, Pax, 14, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and Knox, 9.

The 42-year-old Oscar winner was spotted wearing a full-length black and white gown that accentuated her slim figure. Jolie was honored as the 2017 UNCA Global Citizen of the Year at the United Nations Correspondents Association Awards at Cipriani Wall Street.

Jolie’s daughter, Zahara, was the only one who came to the event in a dress. Her sister, Shiloh, wore a suit and a bowtie to the gathering. Pax and Knox also wore suits to the event.

During her speech, Jolie expressed how grateful she is to have her family when so many others don’t get to spend with theirs because of their difficult jobs.

“In my position, I am able to build and raise a family. And I think of a number of colleagues who have been unable to have a family because of the dangerous places they have worked for years on end and the sacrifices they have made. It’s not easy,” she said (via US Weekly).

Jolie also proudly talked about her country and said that she loves being an American. “But I also feel a sense of responsibility towards all other people all around the world fighting for the freedoms that we are very lucky to have secured years ago. And for me, this is what it means to be a citizen of the world: seeing yourself in the struggles of others, regarding their fight for human rights and freedom as your fight,” she said.

Meanwhile, Jolie also bonded with her four kids on Thursday after she received two Golden Globe nominations. Jolie, Pax, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox were photographed entering a building in New York. They were all wearing jackets and beanies.
