Bill Maher made some jokes about Bristol Palin, a couple of weeks ago on his show Real Time With Bill Maher, after which Fox News’ resident psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, made a comment that: Maher is “hostile towards women.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, Chris Hayes editor of The Nation, Amanda Foreman and transgenders advocate Chaz Bono were the guests for the show Real Time With Bill Maher on Friday.

On the show, Maher read the evidence that Ablow, had laid out, including that Maher frequents the Playboy mansion, dates supermodels and has no children, Business Insider reported.

Ann Coulter supporting Ablow comments labeled Maher a misogynist. The charge made Maher defensive and challenged her to name one thing he had said about Bachmann that made Coulter to say that.

Coulter was only accusing Maher for things he had said about Bachmann, but Maher had a pretty good defense for that:

Michele Bachmann happens to be a woman. I can't talk about a woman if she's nuts? She happens to be talking about a person who is nuts. It had nothing to do with her being a woman, did it? Really?

He pointed out that he was also hard on George Bush, a penis carrying man.

As for Ablow, Maher still wasn't done, noting that for a psychiatrist, he has no sense of humor, which, according to Maher, is the ultimate test of sanity, Business Insider reported.

Maher challenged Ablow to come on his show Real Time and have a sane-off.
