Seven Silicon Valley companies were named in a list of the top 50 most valuable brands by Brand Finance, a consulting agency that specializes in brand valuation. But Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) earned the title for “most valuable brand” in the U.S. by a pretty substantial margin.

According to the list, Apple is worth an estimated $104.68 billion dollars. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), the second-rated brand, is worth $68.62 billion.

Brand Finance also released an excellent Infographic to help put these numbers in context.

Brand Finance created the list by estimating the royalty rate that each company would charge for the use of its brand, according to Silicon Valley Business Journal. The agency ranked a total of 500 brands, and the full list can be found here.
