Kate Gosselin’s boyfriend Jeff Prescott was accused of neglecting his three children by his former wife during their divorce in 2006, Radar Online has reported. The “Kate Plus 8” reality star is also facing allegations of child abuse from her former husband, Jon Gosselin, who is rumored to be seeking custody of their daughter Hannah.

Prescott, the co-founder of Dreamstime, a microstock photography agency, allegedly neglected his three children, court documents obtained by Radar Online stated. His wife Michelle Jones reportedly claimed, during the divorce, that Prescott had “infrequent” visits with their children, who were in their teens at the time of their split.

Prescott’s former wife also alleged that he frequently left town “on business and pleasure,” without informing her or their children, one of whom is disabled. “There have been times when he has not answered his cell phone for days,” Jones reportedly claimed in the court documents.

According to Prescott, however, him and his former wife are "getting along great."

"As for the divorce issues, most of them do not carry any merit," Prescott told Radar Online. "We went through some tough times that were short lived. Michelle and I get along great and have for a long time."

However, the revelation about Prescott’s history of child neglect could cause trouble for Kate if rumors about a custody battle between her and Jon are true. Kate currently has primary custody of their eight children, twins Cara and Mady, 14, and 10-year-old sextuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel.

Earlier this month, Jon's attorney Kristen Doleva-Lecher commented on the rumors, telling Us Weekly that her client was focused on protecting his children. "Jon's priority is what is best for the kids... [He will] fight for them. Jon is currently not commenting on the situation. His focus remains on his children."
