Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips, who famously attended the 2012 Oscars together, became friends after Phillips joined the cast of "Dawson's Creek" in 2001. "We shot that television show in a small town in North Carolina," Phillips told the Wall Street Journal of filming the WB drama with the actress, "so it’s a very heightened experience when you’re away from all of your actual friends and family. We became each other’s everything in that time." According to Pop Sugar, Phillips is the godmother of Williams' daughter Matilda Rose.

Leonardo Dicaprio and Tobey Maguire met while beginning their acting careers in Los Angeles, Calif. They first worked together in 1993,  when Dicaprio starred and Maguire has a supporting role in "This Boy's Life." The two are set to co-star in next summer's 3D adaptation of "The Great Gatsby." "It was fantastic," Maguire told E! of working with Dicaprio on the film. "It was great. He's a great friend and a great actor, so I got to hang out with my buddy and be inspired by a great actor."

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler formed a friendship in 2001 when Poehler joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" while Fey was the head writer for the sketch comedy series. Fey later praised Poehler in her bestselling autobiography "Bossypants" for helping her feel comfortable in the male-dominated environment. “Amy made it clear that she wasn’t there to be cute," Fey said of Poehler's stint on "SNL." "She wasn’t there to play wives and girlfriends in the boys’ scenes. She was there to do what she wanted to do and she did not [bleeping] care if you like it,” she wrote in the bestseller.  “With Amy there, I felt less alone.” The duo, who starred in the comedies "Mean Girls" and "Baby Mama," are set to host the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards next year.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck began their 25-year friendship while growing up in Cambridge, Mass., together. In 1998, the pair took home the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay after writing the acclaimed drama "Good Will Hunting." Since then, they have colaborated on a number of projects including the 1999 dark comedy "Dogma" and the 2001 reality series "Project Greenlight." According to Deadline, Affleck will soon direct Damon in the upcoming drama "Whitey," based on the life of Boston mobster James 'Whitey' Bulger.

On Saturday, Mindy Kailing and Reese Witherspoon were spotted out and about in Brentwood, Calif. According the Perez Hilton, the "The Mindy Project" star and the Oscar-winning actress met for lunch at Tavern Restaurant.   

No word yet on whether they were meeting to discuss a potential project or if the actress are budding besties. Here's hoping they can soon join the ranks of our favorite celebrity BFFs.
