A sneak at the art work done by Niko Henrichon Nikohenrichon.com

In a recent interview Darren Aronofsky had revealed that he is writing a comic book which might be a precursor to big screen adaptation. This set the media world abuzz about the subject of the graphic book, with most concluding it will be Batman –like. Now it is reported that he is to release a comic book titled Noah.

The Oscar-nominated Darren has apparently been working on the project since he was 13 and loosely follows the story of Noah’s Ark. He himself described it as an unconventional biblical epic.

The illustrations are by the Canadian artist Nico Henrichon who has also illustrated Brian K. Vaughan‘s Pride Of Baghdad. Aronofsky is a big comic book fan and collects comic art.

Aronofsky's directorial ventures include Black Swan, Pi and The Wrestler. The comic book will be released in 2012.
