Arrow
Will Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) be the next Ra's Al Ghul? The CW

Arrow” is in the middle of another long break, not returning for episode 16 of Season 3 until March 18. But fans have a lot to ponder while they wait. Episode 16 is titled “The Offer,” leaving no doubt of the topic for the last episodes of the season. So what will happen when “Arrow” comes back?

Well, no surprises here – “The Offer” refers to the proposition Ra’s Al Ghul (Matt Nable) made to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) at the end of episode 15. Here is the exchange between the two tough-as-nails rivals from “Nanda Parbat”:

Ra's al Ghul: “You tasted death and you wanted more, but the truth is everyone and everything must come to an end. Even for one such as me.”

Oliver: “Kill me, but spare John Diggle's life. Let him go. I will beg for it.”

Ra's al Ghul: “You have shown tremendous strength, fortitude, power. No, Mr. Queen. I don't want to kill you. I want you to take my place. I want you to become the next Ra's al Ghul.”

So, there you have it! Ra’s Al Ghul wants Oliver to be the next leader of the League of Assassins. And the promo for episode 16 reveals that Ra’s is making his case. The teaser video features a voiceover of the League of Assassins leader warning Oliver that eventually Starling City will turn on him, but if he accepts the offer he can help save the whole world. The argument seems to be pretty convincing because the end of the promo shows Oliver seriously contemplating the idea.
