Thea (Willa Holland, pictured) might be the reason why Oliver (Stephen Amell, not pictured) will return to Starling City in "Arrow" Season 4. The CW

In the “Arrow” Season 3 finale, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) rode off into the sunset together, leaving Starling City behind to live happily ever after. However, “Arrow” cannot continue without the Arrow, right? Something is bound to bring the CW series’ hero back to the dark and gloomy city and a recent fan Q&A with star Stephen Amell may have hinted at the answer.

Amell took to Twitter Tuesday morning to take fans questions about the upcoming season. One fan, using the Twitter handle “@sundaytrain,” asked Amell to describe the Season 4 premiere in three words. See the actor’s response in the tweet below:

Speedy, of course, refers to Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Oliver’s half-sister who donned Roy’s (Colton Hayes) Arsenal suit in the Season 3 finale. Thea’s “Speedy” nickname denotes her position in the DC Comics universe as the Arrow’s sidekick, but with Oliver out of town, there will be a lot more responsibility on the younger Queen’s shoulders.

Could Amell’s tweet mean that Thea will be in trouble in the Season 4 premiere? Fans will remember that after Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable) killed Thea earlier in the season, she was brought back to life by the Lazarus Pits. Viewers are still expecting some side effects from the supernatural revival and those could come into play in the premiere. Also, Thea could simply come up against an enemy she cannot handle on her own. Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) recently became the new leader of the League of Shadows and promised Oliver he would play nice, but he could potentially cause problems for his daughter in Starling. If Thea was in danger it would not be hard to imagine Oliver returning.

Will Oliver come back to Starling City in the Season 4 premiere? Fans will have to wait to find out. “Arrow” will return to the CW for Season 4 in the fall.
