Kate Middleton's wedding dress was the talk of the Royal Wedding days before the actual event.

As it had been speculated, Middleton wore a beautiful white gown by designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Burton is the creative director for Alexander McQueen.

Middleton, now ennobled Duchess of Cambridge, walked down the Westminster Abbey aisle in a V-neck Alexander McQueen gown. Middleton accessorized the gown with touches of glamour.

She wore a 1936 Cartier halo tiara lent to her by Queen Elizabeth. The tiara was purchased by King George VI for the Queen Mother and was presented to the Queen on her 18th birthday.

Middleton, who wore her hair half up and half down, also wore leaf-shaped diamond earrings by Robinson Pelham. The earrings were made to match her tiara and featured a diamond set drop and pave set diamond suspended in the center. The earrings were a gift from her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.

The bride's sister, Pippa, also wore a white dress by Sarah Burton and similar earrings also by Robinson Pelham.
