‘Jackass’ star Ryan Dunn, 34, and his 30-year-old friend Zachary Daniel Hartwell, died in a car accident in Pennsylvania early Monday. During the crash, Dunn's 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 went off a road, crashed into woods and caught fire.

West Goshen (Pa.) Police Chief Michael Carroll told reporters that an accident reconstruction team determined the high rate of speed the vehicle was traveling before it collided with a guardrail, landed in the woods and burst into flames.

A preliminary investigation suggested that Dunn's Porsche might have been traveling more than 100 mph in the 55 mph zone when it jumped a guardrail and struck a tree and burst into flames.

The crash was so catastrophic it prompted Carroll to say it was the worst accident he had ever seen, saying he's never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was ... even before it caught on fire, TMZ reported.

A toxicology report on Wednesday showed Dunn had drunk enough to get his blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when he died in a car crash while returning from a bar.

The daredevil, whose death has kicked up unseemly controversies, had an alcohol level of 0.196, almost 2.5 times the legal limit of 0.08 set for drivers in Pennsylvania.

However, the coroner did not find any evidence for Dunn using drugs of abuse like heroin, pot or cocaine. The coroner is yet to get results of tests done to identify prescription drug use, according to the report of the West Goshen Township police.

A memorial service for Jackass star Ryan Dunn was held on Wednesday at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home in West Chester, PA.

Dunn's obituary said he is survived by the love of his life, Angela M. Cuturic and his parents. In lieu of flower contributions, the obituary urged fans and friends to make donations to the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids.
