Shaniya Davis autopsy results expected

An autopsy is currently being carried out on Shaniya Davis' body after it was found on the side of the North Carolina highway near her hometown Monday.

Davis was on Tuesday last week reported missing by her mother, Antoinette Davis, from their Fayatteville home in North Carolina.

Davis, 25, is accused of selling her daughter as a sex slave and appeared in court on human trafficking and child prostitution charges.

Shaniya was last seen alive in the arms of Mario Andrette McNeill, 29, in hotel surveillance footage where he was carrying Davis into an elevator.
